Flash the Cameras
Posted 01 February 2010 | by Tokion

It's hard these days to be a celebrity, what with photographers hiding in bushes and hampers and whatnot. Actually, with twitter pics and the constant threat of Facebook tagging, we're all targets now. Fortunately Adam Harvey Projects has come up with a solution: this small device, designed to fit in a handbag, detects flash and emits a flash of its own, so all the photog gets is a big white light filling the frame. The Anti-Paparazzi Clutch, available now.

Swimming in Africa
Posted 19 January 2010 | by Tokion

Just like refrigerators and closets, swimming pools can be very revealing. This is the basis for photographer Marieke Van Der Velden's series Swimming-Pools in Africa. The images reveal fake and transplanted wildlife, signs of western cultural influence and juxtapositions of luxury and poverty. Check them out on Behance.net.
