I heard that this record syncs up with a 1997 movie starring Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt because, seriously, this is as good as it gets. On their first record, the melodies got buried under a percussive assault, but on this new joint, the lighter touches are allowed to bubble up to the surface of the ritual thrash. They’re already one of the best live shows around, and this is the album Health fans have been waiting for. It’s really a win-win situation for everyone.
